Introduction
How to become certified under Global ACE?
The certification is awarded to candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Successfully passed the Global ACE certification examination.
- The examination is open to all individuals. - Submit an Application to be certified.
- Once the candidate has passed the examination, the next step is to complete and submit the application to be certified.
- Should have fundamental understanding on information security/security assessment/network/operating systems/applications/database systems.
- 2 years’ in relevant experience (e.g. system administrator, network engineer, SOC analyst).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or relevant area; or
- Diploma in Information Technology or Information Security area with 2-year experience; or
- Minimum of 3 year working experience in Information Technology or Information Security area.
- Must be an experienced developer with prior knowledge of the SDLC model, aware of the different models (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.) and understands the need for a systematic approach to secure application development and testing.
- 1 year experience in software development.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.

- 2 years minimum of experience in managerial position.
- Fundamental knowledge in information security.
2 years working experience, one of which must be in an information security field.
- Should possess an understanding of IT, computer networking, database operations, and cloud computing fundamental.
- At least one year working experience in IT operations.
- Should have fundamental understanding on information security/network/operating systems/applications/database systems.
- Teaching in a public or private, primary or secondary school or higher education institution.
- Should possess an understanding of operating systems, computer networks and foundational security knowledge.
- At least one year working experience/knowledge in network security.
